"Life is short.
If you know you can make
somebody that you love happy with just a simple thing, don't hesitate in doing so.
Maybe before you know it, maybe before you realize it, you ran out of time already
to give him/her the HAPPINESS this world could offer because that person is gone...."

SINGAPORE

December 26-28, 19933was the last time I've been to Singapore.... I barely remember how it looked like. All that I remember was how clean it was (they can even monitor where you'll throw your gum), how strict it was with taxis (only 4 people inside and there's 5 of us in the family), and of course, the infamous ORCHARD Rd. - an oasis for shoppers. Most especially, GUESS at that time was a hit! And man! My mom's credit card got maxed out. No kidding!

And now, August 13-17 2011, I went again not to shop that much but to take a breather from Hong Kong's fast paced, demanding and stressful life. To see good friends, to see them perform in prestigious musicals and do sight-seeing... A much laid back vacation than what I had 18 years ago except that my parents were present then. I can depend on them for financial means. Hehehe! Nonetheless, this is when you put what you've worked hard for to use! Such pure indulgence, the thought of it! Ugh! Makes my mouth water! Let me start off with what's familiar to me.

The ORCHARD RD. I didn't get the chance to stroll along this shop ville as much as I did when I was young. So, I took the chance to familiarize myself once again with this fabulous road of fashion, leisure and luxury. It's nice to know that Ezek, one of Salinggawi's fruits, is working in PRADA. And it was very convenient that they have a ticket booth just along the sidewalk to purchase your tickets for wonderful musicals. We purchased ours there. We wanted to know if there's a discount for Disney cast members but we didn't want to wait longer. We wanted assured seats. Not much shopping was done but it's nice to see Orchard Road during the night.

You wouldn't believe it but I just spent probably around half an hour here to meet up with highschool batchmates over at Marche Vivo...

Marche is a very nice restaurant situated on top of Vivo, a mall that is similar to the construction of the overwhelming Greenbelt of the Philippines. Marche serves Italian and Spanish cuisines. What's amazing about this restau is that everything is fresh. You pick up the veggies that you want to be in your salad, you choose the steak cut that you want to be cooked for you and the wine that you want to go with it. I checked the rice, all they had was PAELLA! Boo... but it's alright to try something different. If they will serve white rice, it'll spoil the feel of it anyways. Then, you can choose which pasta you want to be prepared for you. It was pricey but worth it! Quite an experience most especially if you share that moment with people important to you.

Moving on, I had to say, I wouldn't let this trip pass without seeing my high school batch mates, volleyball teammates and co-dancers during college. It felt so good seeing how well they had turned out. Rachelle Valencia was with her husband. They looked cute together and I am thankful for she gathered as much people as she could. Karla Valencia, so many things, we've witnessed together. We shared a lot of hardships, school, work and play all at the same time. We danced for Salinggawi that's why I included "play" in our "hardships". Ha! Too much irony. It's hard to explain but she knows what I mean. Kathy Dinio, Mhaane Reyes.... Katherine and Marie Antoinette along with Kei a.k.a, Kareen Amanda Donor.... ha! I remember how goofy we all were when we were in high school. So many of our friends outside the volleyball team were so annoyed when we couldn't hang out with them because of our training. But, they don't know how much craziness we've spent altogether.... I thank you all for this precious time in Marche. Until next time, I hope you'd visit me in return here in Hong Kong....

It had caught my attention that there's a cheap place where you could buy good finds for yourself and for people left at home too as form of "pasalubong". That, if Hong Kong got Mong Kok, Singapore got the Bugis Junction.... I went gaga.... LOL!!!! I've always considered shopping as a form of therapy. So, like what I said, I needed a breather. My friend Lawrence Law and I therefore had the best time choosing what to buy for our loved ones and we also bought something for ourselves that caught our eyes.... FUN FUN FUN!!!!
I realized that as a performer, research is important so I indulged on musicals when I went to Singapore. I am but so proud of my good friends, WENDELL JOHN FRANDO, YAEL PINEDA, ALEXANDER DAGALEA & EARL CLARISSE MALLARI, whom I've known for a long time as 4 years of working for Disney had passed by. Respectively, they work in the fabulous La Vie, Lion King Broadway, Daddy-o's; Monster Rock (the last two can be seen in Universal Studios) currently. I could say that I've felt more inspired and driven because of them. These humble people fed my soul for its hunger for entertainment and air. I felt so grateful of witnessing how they've grown as multi-talented performers. Bravo my friends! Spread your wings! Spread them wide!

La Vie Singapore's first theatrical circus and its longest running original production,
Voyage de la Vie, is the timeless tale of a young man's coming of age.

Frustrated with the pressures of work, the Boy receives a mysterious box
which opens up to reveal the mischievous Game Master.
The Game Master introduces him to the Lantern Keeper who becomes
the Boy's guide on a journey though his imagination,
where the Boy encounters many extraordinary characters.
They teach him that wherever he is in this passage,
it is the Journey and not the Destination which gives life its meaning.

Be awed and entertained by dazzling costumes, magnificent sets and death defying circus feats performed by a cast of international circus stars from 19 countries....

It was such a remarkable experience watching this.
So many stunts that had put me and my friends at the
edge of our seats. Totally different....

LION KING - Marina Sans

ALEXANDER DAGALEA with the DADDY-O'S

EARL CLARISSE MALLARI
SHE-WOLF

UNIVERAL STUDIOS - we needed to make a stop here. This had truly lifted our spirits up! Most especially after riding the accelerator. I remembered how me and my sisters loved riding the breathtaking ones! My sister used to pick the first row and I've always stayed behind. You know, that feeling that you wanted to be as brave as her but you can't. Being the middle child, I always find myself behind her when scariest things happen.... Anyway, let me share this funny experience. We were in Great America in U.S. and we rode Top Gun. It's speed was maybe similar to how airforce planes accelerate. So, she was shouting "aaaahhhh!!!! ahhhhh!!!!" Speed combined with the numbness of her mouth, she didn't realize she was drooling. And I was behind her, right? So, yep! She kind of spitted on me unknowingly. And we just laughed after I told her on our way down. But I have to stress it out that it's a heavenly feeling. Some surge of adventure and excitement.... Big thanks to Guy Cheng, Lawlaw's friend who showed us around the park.

Some things that you have to know about Universal Studios are the following:

MADAGASCAR: A CRATE ADVENTURE
Join Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria, the four heroes from Dreamworks Animation's movie, Madagascar, as they embark on an unforgettable river ride adventure in Madagascar: A Crate Adventure...

Around this area are an array of cuisines that you may find satisfying. We had our lunch here. Servings are pretty small but it's enough to keep you going around the park. Distractions are everywhere anyways.... LOL!!!! But I suggest, you eat first outside before visiting this theme park. It's better to save money for shopping because their goods are really funky and nice! I got a "Best Actress" shirt for myself. And a lot of shirts were on sale that time like around SG$5 if you get 2 shirts. More discounts if you buy a lot too.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA
HUMAN OR CYCLON - Choose your side on the world's tallest duelling roller coasters. Prepare to engage in aerial combat between two coasters. The Cyclon suspended coaster goes up, around and upside down with an intense corkscrew and a cobra roll, while the Human seated coaster zooms at speeds of 82.8 km/h and propels you over 14 storeys into the air.

Like I said, I chose CYCLON. We had just one time big time chance as we were maximizing our visit because we had to leave early to watch the Lion King Musical in the evening.

WATERWORLD
Prepare to be amazed by death defying feats, awesome explosions and an ocean of thrills as giant fireballs explode in the air and a seaplane swoops towards you, skidding across the water to crash explosively just inches away in a finale that will leave you breathless!!!!

Simply amazing, that's just what I could say. It's worth it to watch once again. One time is enough though. They have sections that may indulge you on some more intimate interaction. You may get, that's what I meant. So make sure you choose where to sit on most especially when you handle nice non-waterproof cameras.

Besides of course, the fact that I saw new things in Singapore, still, it wouldn't make the trip as awesome as it seems if not for old friends... As we made a toast in Prelude (a beautiful place to hang out in) and as Julie Ewen gave away to a brief but very meaningful speech, "A toast for friends who don't always see each other but will always share that special bond that nothing could get broken." I am so glad to see you again. And watch out for Ms. Carlie Chapman, a TRUE Hongker by heart... will be joining us by November!

PAIN - a personal realization on a day that the Lord had made

There are so many kinds of pain a human being could experience. To my opinion, it's some great force that could bring you from being madly driven down to becoming insanely paralyzed.

EXPERIENCE could allow one person to subjectively describe it. Within 28 years of my existence, there's as far as 4 that I've encountered. You may agree or disagree with what I am about to share. But one way or another, it may be a little too familiar to you.

The most superficial of all, is the ACHE that gets triggered every now and then. Usually, this is stimulated by MEMORIES. Memories of loosing someone, memories of "almost" making it to the top, memories of the many "firsts" turned to "regrets" in the end. I've got a number of aches that I could recall. The effect of it though is tolerable since there's always an emotion that comes right thru given the aftermath of these memories. It's this tiny light of HOPE that it will never happen again or it may be the WILL that encourages you to get over it.

Physical pain however is due to bad habits. Of course, it's hard to just dwell particularly on that reason but most of the time, as I've realized, bad habits could be a main reason. From the word physical, it's something that our physical bodies complain about. Just to remind us to put something into a halt. And I've always believed that something in excess always leads to something bad. Bad habits like smoking may lead to chronic lung failure. The word, "chronic" itself sounds painful to me, not mentioning the reality behind such diagnosis. Being too proud of having a bad habit of not warming up before working out is may also induce physical pain in the long run. ("CHRONIC-pain")... Not sleeping on time, not drinking water, getting stressed too much... like what I said, these things that I am mentioning maybe a little too familiar since they maybe perceived as subconsciously "normal" since they've become a ROUTINE. An unhealthy one for that matter.

The most difficult to handle is the DEEP PAIN that resides in the heart. The one that's formed by a massive impact of a certain situation. Abuse, cheating, treachery, deceit. These are the simplest of them all. Deep pain is the kind that never heals because it continuously is nurtured by emotions that only TIME may take away. FEAR, ANGER, GUILT and PRIDE are the ultimate culprits of feeding DEEP PAIN into becoming something destructive. It's hard to comprehend how and why this happens. Ironically, it's easy for humans to blame it to other people. What they don't realize is that the answer relies on them. Limited as we all are, there are individuals that could never cope up.

This is where the last kind seeps in. The kind of physical pain brought about by human emotions. Those emotions that are far too great to be handled by the human brain. Now I'm confused. Which should handle the deep pain anyway? Is it the heart? Or is it the brain? Going back, this deep pain turned to physical pain is called the PSYCHOSOMATIC PAIN. Usually, it may be in a form of PSYCHOSIS (humans becoming out of order when it comes to its ability to reason out or just plainly to identify what is the difference between real and not, since the brain isn't functioning well) - ; or HEART ATTACK, STROKE, OR IT COULD BE JUST A SIMPLE HEADACHE. If you would really think about it, it could be considered as somehow, STRESS-RELATED.

I've shared this to encourage people to become strong with whatever pain they're going thru and to those who know they've harmed somebody, physically or emotionally, this is what happens. They go thru pain. It's a sad thought.

HK Disneyland~"Adventureland Oasis Party" Wild Rhythms Summer'10 Last Sh...

Last SUMMER, WILD RHYTHMS of Hong Kong Disneyland had made it's toll
in becoming one of the guests' favorite show. It had gathered a number of
spectators with its theme, "we'll take you to the islands!"
How did they do that? Polynesian fire-knife dancers had emceed
an instructional show. They've introduced some relative responses such as
"Pati"- which means clap, "Lua pati" - 2 claps and "mili" - rubbing of the hands together.
They've performed the slap dance as well and did a fire-knife routine to end it.

Only a few people are aware that there's such fire-eaters.
What they don't know is that these fire-eaters are warriors during the ancient times.
Before it had become a form of entertainment and before it had become
a sport in its own right to take place in the competitive world,
it had saved the Polynesian islands in so many ways from selfish intruders.
Oh how grande Hong Kong's idea was last year...

Of course springing from a very good summer last year,
CARS 2, the movie is yet to be in Hong Kong theatres so Lightning McQueen
had released another new show in Hong Kong Disneyland as he stops by
for his World Grand Prix Tour. As it had set foot in HK Disney,
two celebrities had conjoined to welcome Lightning McQueen for its
first appearance for the guests....

Here's a glimpse...

LAMMA ISLAND is a very well known place for a gourmet of seafoods here in Hong Kong. This year was my first time to experience it.

The trails going to where the main event was not unfamiliar to me as it looked like trekking some areas in the province of Romblon, where my Dad came from. It's well known for holding a large supply of marble.

According to "The "Standard" Newspaper, which I often get first thing in the morning before going to work, Lamma Island holds one of the most expensive array of highlands. Usually sought by foreigners for their idea of putting up a rest house for spending holidays, the confident Lamma Island had pushed it to the edge as they hosted Dragon Boat Race Event this year. Lots of fun to the participants and of course to those who had gained victory that day. Kudos to the rowers of TEAM MUSHU and to their cheerleading team (to us) for a job well done.

To further ignite the excitement, my good friend Fern and I decided to buy a bottle of red wine for HK$60 only. And check this out, we didn't know at first that you get one for free for the price of one. Woohoow! Yes, you can see deals like this around the island. We saw some good locations for instant photoshoots too. Ha! It was really a good day.

Let me talk about being a part of one big audience....FOR A CHANGE

"HILLSONG"

I never imagined that this concert of Australian devotees
to Christianity could come up with a pumped up jam similar to that of
an ordinary rockband... What made theirs extraordinary was
that all of their ENERGY were used to PRAISE the LORD.

I don't want to look at it at the notion that it's one way of
Christian believers to gain money.
I still am admiring them for what they did.
Touching lives of people by letting them know there's one way to
BELONG even though you talked about the Lord.

If the estimated number of people who believe in God would be let's say,
5 out of 10, because these 5 would rather talk about the Lord most often
than talking about gossips, branded worldly things and
latest showbiz buzz, the other 5 may mock them of
what they believe in. The other latter 5 are expected that they would
stay away as they could be plainly disagreeable of Jesus,
or simply with the idea of having something to believe in.
This is actually just based on subjective observation.
Surprisingly, even though the 5 people are considered as
God-believers, only two of them maybe considering
Jesus' way of living as their own.
And the HILLSONG are just the best example of that.

So many rock bands, rising stars and icons are so famous
but only them are the ones who used fame to honor the name of the Lord.
Natural high! I must say....
The way they wrote their song were very soulful.
Speaks to the heart directly. I loved it.

MAROON 5

I must admit, I didn't expect Adam Levine and the rest of the
group would be giving me more than my money's worth last night.
I'd say, Adam's voice was phenomenal. The drummer was in sync,
the men on keyboards were just amazing. And so were the guitarists...
It had really made me look at the group in a more special way.

Needless to say, Adam Levine was hot. I was impressed with how
modulated his voice was despite the excitement with the audience.
He sounded perfect, just like how he sounds in the original songs as you sing it via IPOD,
cd, or what not. Lighting was pretty cool too, no technical difficulties what so ever.
They played an hour and forty-five... Not bad!

Though I got stuck in the Asia-Express MTR and dealt with a lot
of ill-tempered foreigners, it was great that it wasn't in Macau or something
where it's really so hard for me to come home from.

BAKING

Besides playing the guitar, this is one of the newest things about me.

I am so thankful for Jane Logan for handing us her oven.

Everything in our house here in Hong Kong had been almost a handover.

But it's all good.

A good friend of mine, Malyn Punay had recently shared to me that

BAKING helps her escape the stressful world.

"A good therapy!", that's how she described it. And I've proven it true.

It's nice to bake for loved ones and friends. It always puts a smile on their faces.

Recently, I've done Banana Muffins and Chocolate Cupcakes.

My boyfriend always loves matching them with coffee in the evening

a couple of hours after dinner. Makes me feel good to see them

appreciate this very simple expression of dedication.

Do try it some time...
My second trip to Taiwan...
Ahh..... one of the things that I am happy about myself.
For 4 years, we've been here in Hong Kong, I asked myself what could be a
good present for Hogan on his birthday...

Most of the time, because of the stressful demands of being employed

away from your family and what's familiar, we feel burnt out

of doing what you used to call your PASSION. That something that you were

bragging to your friends about that you could do forever even if when you're asleep...

Believe me, you will get to a point that you will need a breather

to get REJUVENATED and REFRESHED...

And so, I thought of bringing Hogan to Taiwan.

It's not his home (SAMOA)... but his sister now migrates there and

so, I thought of having him celebrate it with a family memeber at least.

Plus the fact that we were about to see Xiang Ning, his niece

made the trip exciting.

I really told myself that this trip should be all about him.

My holy weekend was spent getting in touch with Hogan's

extended family. Him being half Chinese flourished more with Kuki's

marriage to Jeff. Giving birth to pretty Xiang Ning, seeing them altogether
made me appreciate cultural diversity even more.

I loved spending time with them, in their home and with

new friends that I've gained. They've always made me feel

WELCOME even during my first visit.

The only thing that I intended to gain was lots of REST of course,

PICTURES and the stinky tofu experience.
During my last visit, I couldn't bear smelling this Taiwanese

delicacy. But a lot of my Chinese friends said that it's like you haven't

gone to Taiwan after all if you didn't taste this.

And so, I asked Kuki to help me out. It was alright!

It tasted quite like how barbecued internal organs would...

Hogan asked me if he would be able to take it... I said no.

I suggest don't try it if you are not used to authentic Asian delicacy. LOL!!!

LIFE Cafe

My feel good day that I knew I couldn't let go of. Wendell came for a visit and I am so glad I got hold of another good moment with him in this cafe. It was 3 years ago I believe when he brought me here. All organic... and for some reason, even the conversations I've had with friends coming over here is pretty much at the same level. Simple, organic and free....

The day was spent doing some reminiscing, updating and rediscovering once again LIVES that have moved on, and CHOICES that were kept. I was so glad to have WENDELLIRIUM experience once again. Photoshoots atop IFC Mall, a visit to the second-hand library and ZARA experience. That day, I purchased my denim wedges that I know I am not going to regret getting to match my Spring wardrobe. Hehehe!!!! I love it! If you're in Hong Kong, do visit this wonderful cafe. Make it your choice. You won't regret doing so. Besides the one situated in SOHO, another branch is NOW located in 50C Johnson Road, Wanchai (across from OVO on Ship St. - click on the title to connect to its website!)

January 2011

A great sense of fulfillment enwrapped me at the very start of 2011. The 5th year of HK Disneyland was launched together with the Flights of Fantasy Parade where Tinkerbell had transformed the park into a twinkling place of happiness and magic. Everybody had worked so hard for the guests to have an unforgettable experience this 2011. I was always a Disney baby and I never imagined that I would be working for it. And now, being a part of the most beautiful parade... that was way too much! But then again, as the intro of our parade goes, "Let your imagination soar!" This is a thought that I share with my partner in crime here. And that's why Hogan and I love our jobs and we cherish every opportunity that brings us close to the guests. This year, Tinkerbell is in the Pixie Hollow and Tangled's Rapunzel stand beside the castle ready to meet all of you who wanted to visit the park.

The media day which happened last January 21st, had brought a lot of reporters from all over the world including Philippines' Jessica Soho and Corina Sanchez... and they had covered a very good story about the Filipinos who have been working here for 5 years.

Indeed, this energizes all of us here who represents our country. A lot of us aim to be at our best just to be able to earn a living but the underlying strength is from our PASSION AS PERFORMERS. Personally speaking, I love how I see the kids so happy. It's my favorite to see when I perform. I can't thank the Lord enough for this capacity to offer them this kind of entertainment. I'm so lucky that they even go out of their way to see us in the park. Just to see us dance.

And of course, I would like to congratulate our choreographer, Jennifer Lawrence and with Randy's help, she had been promoted to show director. She was patient to all of us. Our shortcomings never stopped her from bringing out the best in us. She believed in our passion and she had molded each and everyone of us in this specific period of time into somebody better. We thank you Jen for everything...

Line of Favorite Pics for 2010

JANUARY
"SUSTAINANCE"
Most people obsess about the thought of having new year resolutions
not realizing that the very essence of it is if you can sustain abiding by them.
Daryl Brown, a theatre performer, is able to sustain not only his voice
in singing out, but also his professionalism
when dealing with client after client.
I wish I had known of his entire line of broadway shows and
musicals he'd been involved in. Nevertheless, he's an epitome of an
artist who's able to sustain humility amidst greatness.
For January, I chose this photo because I would like to inspire all of you.
It's always good to sustain it from the beginning...

FEBRUARY
"LOVE CONQUERS ALL"

The LOVE month...
Here is a proof that LOVE do defies AGE...
What I find interesting in this photo is the gesture despite
wrinkled hands, gray hair and location.
And I love the multi-tasking it shows.
(chuckles!)

MARCH
"SPRING"

Ahhh!!!! When I hear spring, I got three words in my head.
Nature, beauty and gay. All these 3 are in this picture.
Credits to Gail Nicolas for giving emphasis on the outlines of the waves
and clouds. It truly highlights the swan mysteriously.

APRIL
"FREEDOM"

Ms. Swani Yip, whose forte is CLASSICAL BALLET had gone
to Boracay for a vacation and she couldn't resist its white beaches.
I loved how she had kicked some sand to the right (it can't be seen that much
because the picture is quite small) which means she had given the jump
real effort. But she managed to look so light and dramatic.

MAY
"CAMOUFLAGE"

For most of the people holding contracts in Disney,
I could say that May is the most laid back month for all of us.
'Tis the season when new commers become more at ease with the rest of
the cast, weather is just right, not too hot and not too cold.
Plus workload had given them a familiar breathing pattern.
This is the time they adapt.
Hence, I chose this photo of Ms. Julie Alagde-Carretas
along with some of her friends.
I loved how they had put on the make up
to be able to adapt and blend with the EARTH...

Breath-taking photo!

JUNE
"I'M YOURS"

For the month when most "I do's!" are being said,
I featured one of Cora Teng and Brian Shao's pre-nup photo
because of the wonderful journey of them together graced by marriage.
I am wooed with how they smile and stare at each other,
how their hands clasped each other's and how simple black, white and green
go altogether. Be blessed my wonderful friends!

JULY
"THE CHOSEN ONE"

I saw this from the album of two budding photographers,
Ben Rozagaso and Jojo Mamangun (whose works I continuously admire).
They took a course on how to do effects on photos that you take.
And I picked this one for July because of that very powerful rays
of the sun effect that somehow gives a different range of drama and art
from a simple shot. Two thumbs up!
Courses are expensive but they're definitely worth it.

AUGUST
"DISCOVERING SOMETHING NEW"

The last month of summer always holds the greatest number of
boat trips amongst Disney people here in Hong Kong.
Meaning, most of them wouldn't want to let go of an opportunity
to go on last minute getaways.
This month then holds a number of great trips that's why
I chose this picture one of London's huge palaces....
Yet again, the rays of the sun highlights the subject and makes
it mysteriously looking but gives it a softer effect.
Photo taken and enhanced by Gail Nicolas
during one of her trips around the world.

SEPTEMBER
"PASSION"

Ai Ivy Chua.... a mixture of a lot of races.
I'm amazed on how she had embraced her Japanese side
in doing this photoshoot.
The Japanese culture is indeed rich if you'd go over their history.
Humbly, she portrays how warriors accept their fate and their purpose.
This photo is very soulful. I love it!

OCTOBER
"WHAT YOU DO NOT SEE"

Maita Ponce -an extraordinary artist.
She sings amiably and expresses herself wonderfully
with portraits and sketches that are full of LIFE.
Avery talented woman indeed.
For the month of October, this enhanced photo of her is PERFECT.

NOVEMBER
"SUNRISE"

My own masterpiece for the year of 2010.
For the first time, I had tried my eye for PHOTOGRAPHY.
I would like to thank Hanedy Sala for gracing with poses
that had inspired me to go on for this very therapeutic hobby.

When I went to the Philippines for a turnover of contract
settings with Disney, I had discovered Bohol.
This was taken on our way to see dolphins.
We had to do it early in the morning and I captured a very wonderful experience.
Sunrise for me is always a sign of a very good beginning.
I'm glad I had come up with this post-card looking output.

DECEMBER
"FOCUS"

As the year ends, we tend to forget some mini responsibilities
we owe to ourselves. Holidays happen during this month and we tend
to overdo eating, being merry and overindulging.
Some of you might wonder what's wrong with that.
But read between the lines. I did use superlatives before each task.
The secret word - "OVERDOING".

Hence, I would like to include this photo enhanced by Danny Tagle.
This is his wife's eye with their son in it.
I really love his idea of combining both of his loved ones in his
project. It simply means, both of them are in his eyes.
Never would he let them go out of his sight.
The eyesight is the strongest sense we have that its impulses
are being sent directly to the brain and the heart.

Today's Scripture

My friend has shared this to me yesterday and I thought of sharing it to whoever may read it... it might help you out since God's message to me thru facebook is that no circumstance, conversation or encounterment is an accident.

“You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised”
(Hebrews 10:36, NIV)

What are you believing God for today? Promotion? Healing? Stronger relationships? Deliverance? God has promised all these things to you in His Word because it’s His heart for you to live in blessing and wholeness.

When you follow the will of God by obeying His Word and precepts, it opens the door for His promises to be fulfilled in your life. You may be doing all the right things today — don’t give up!Perseverance will carry you to the promise.

Perseverance means that you are focused, that you are believing what God says about your situation. It’s looking away from distractions and any negative, defeating thoughts. Perseverance looks away from discouragement and looks to theWord of God. Perseverance has a voice, and it says things like, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper! If God is for me, who can be against me! I am more than a conqueror through Jesus!”
