Kung Hei Fat Choi!!!

Make way for Disney's treat this Chinese New Year!!!!

The dragon procession, to hail the year of the mouse, runs from the Main Street down to the Opera House. This is a very fun procession since it's not confined with the usual idea wherein it's just the dragon who dances. Fishes which are symbols of good luck and prosperity to Chinese people graced the procession as well. The atmosphere that Hong Kong Disneyland prepared for this season wouldn't be complete if not for the Chinese New Year Stage Show. A good friend of mine, Nathalie, who is bound for U.S. now is part of the stage show team. I will surely miss her as she goes on for a tie-up company with Disney that will go on a tour around Southeast Asia.

Another cool recreation HK Disney had come up with this Chinese New Year is the presentation of how Mickey Mouse's house looks like. There are also fashion shows that proudly presented Vivianne Tam's creation. Of course, the designs are still inspired by the Fab 5's (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto) usual colors.
