In terms of exercise, Disney's athletic training is sooooo fine!!!!! We do it every week with our trainor, Henry. For the second session, he brought us to the Inspirational Lake, a public park for Hong Kong locals and tourists to get a load of fresh air as we go thru our routine. Not to mention, the cool people I was with that day, Henry, Josh, Gil and Tracey made the whole experience unforgettable.

Weather and Clothing
SPRING: March to Middle May
Temperature and humidity rising. Spring evenings can be cool so a lightweight jacket should suffice. Temperature ranges from 18 degrees C to 27, humidity about 82%.
SUMMER: Middle May to Late September
Hot and Humid with temperature that ranges from 26 degrees C to 33 and humidity near 86%. Short sleeves and cotton clothes work best, with a lightweight sweater for air-conditioned indoor ares. An umbrella or hat works well to ward off the sun.
AUTUMN: Late September to Early December
Clear and sunny days are the norm in autumn. Short sleeves and light jackets are most suitable at this time of year. The average temperature ranges from 18 degrees C to 28, humidity about 72 %.
WINTER: Middle December to February
Cool with low humidity. Temperature can drop to 10 degress C. Occasional chills make woolens and overcoats worth bringing. Temperature ranges from 14 degress to 20. Humidity: 72%

Currency: HONG KONG DOLLARS
Electricl Voltage:
The standard electrical voltage in HK is 220 volts AC, 50Hz, so you will need an adaptor for your 100-volt appliances and electrical equipment. The majority of electrical outlets in Hong Kong take a 3-pronged plug.
Human Will + Divine Will = SUCCESS
For me, this is the greatest formula ever made. Now that I've made it here in Hong Kong Disneyland, I feel very much blessed for all the graces God has bestowed upon me. It's not just because I got the job but how I got it. God was with me through out it all.

- Most women have one breast bigger than the other.
- For some unexplained reason, it's more likely to be your left breast that's the bigger.
- Breasts are at their most symmetrical between days 14 and 16 of her monthly cycle, due to hormones released during ovulation.
- As we age, connective tissues inside the breasts are replaced with fat--which means breasts lose firmness and get droopier with age.
- You stand equal chance of inheriting your shape from your maternal or paternal side.
- Hormones during pregnancy can darken nipples. They fade later.
- Some women have one nipple that's whiter than the other.
- You can suffer from Jogger's Nipple if you exercise without having a sports bra. Friction is caused by breasts rubbing again fabric, making the nipples sore.
- Exercies won't keep your breasts firm. Using weights can tone your pectoral muscles, but it won't stop nature in its tracks.
- Humans are the only species to have permanently enlarged breasts.

This is indeed a spectacular game. I didn't imagine that I would be a part of Lean's journey toward finishing the "God" mode. Damn those Kratos clones!!!! I almost had Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in finshing the part where he wanted to save his family. I should have known that the Gods would give me power as I keep my family alive in the game! Woohoow!!!! Time for God of War II to begin....

My top 10 favorite restaurants
- GRAM's diner... The one I love most... Located at Rockewell Center and SM Mall of Asia. IT's juicy and irresistable pork belly steaks with mashed potatoes are to die for. Another restaurant complement to this is Butter Diner located infront of the Gateway Gazebo... beside Oyster Bar almost.
- TA YANN...A restaurant located in Robinson's Place Manila, almost in front of YRYS. I think that's the Padre Faura Wing. Taosi squid fits both mine a
nd Lean's taste... Yumm... Not to mention, their Yang Chow Fried Rice... It's not that oily. Lemon Chicken is also great here. My friend Jaq and I? We crave for that every now and then. Relatives of this restaurant are: Mann Hann, Mann Yann, Haf Chan, Haf Chang, Hap Chan... Hahaha!!!
- TRIO...of The Fort. Their cream of mushroom soup is extraordinary. You should try it....
- CHILLI'S...It gives you a taste of the American Dream. Again, I love their steak topped with fluffy shrimps... Oohhh lala!!! It's going to make you forget not just your name but everything as well. Hahaha!!!
- TAKAYAMA.... I don't know if it's still open anywhere. The last time I ate there was way back grade school. You get to choose your raw ingredients and have it cook the way you want while watching.. It's so cool. I think they include wine as their secret weapon...That everytime I finish eating there, I get dizzy but happy-dizzy. Hahaha!!!
- ALING TONYANG'S....This was located atop the Seaside mart which seats along Roxas Blvd.-Baclaran. They've expanded towards the back of the wet market because of continuous support of satisfied customers. Ehem!!! I'm guilty of that. But now, the wet market seems to have been evicted... I think they have themselves relocated at the Dampa area along Macapagal Ave. The secret here... you do the marketing... to know that your goods were weighed exactly. That's what makes the experience fun. Another plus is, you get to enjoy your food while eating with your bare hands.
- IN-N-OUT BURGER.... When we were on our way to Las Vegas from California, we had to make a stopover here because of the long and exhausting drive we had... We discovered how good their burger is that my dad actually wanted to franchise it and bring it over here
in the Philippines. As if!!! Anyway, I ordered the kiddie meal because their adult serving is good for a truck driver... But it was enough for me to consider this as one of my top 10...
- CAFE BRETON.... One of the factors that I consider in choosing a restaurant to dine at is the experience... I loved their "make your own" crepe here... The ambiance also is just right for a chit-chat feel...
- MAHOGANY MARKET... This is located in Tagaytay, almost near Cavite already. It's somewhat a secret place for the best Bulalo soup ever!!!! They pour soup over your meat unlimitedly... Sweet!!!
- KFC.... My all-time favorite fastfood. Their way of cooking the original thigh is just so right... Keeps me on the go when the fast-paced world keeps me at my feet.....

- Real Dishes and wineglasses.
Without an 8-piece matching set, a party that was intended to be posh can seem more like a picnic. Wineglasses also don't have to cost a lot--in fact, they shouldn't, because you'll break at least one at every fun gathering you host. Chic stemless glasses can help with that. - Mirrors.
Hung on any empty wall, mirrors expand your space visually. Plus, according to feng-shui experts, they circulate in a positive way. - A piece of art you love.
It doesn't matter if it comes from a pricey gallery, a street fair, or your own camera; it will look great on your wall because it expresses your style. To look upscale, mat the image on thick paper with a 3-inch border between the print and the frame. - Multipurpose tables.
Nesting (or stackable) tables are great if you're short on space. When you're entertaining, spread them around the room for guests to rest drinks and snacks on. Then when theparty's over, stack them back up.
- Soft, plush towels.
Turkish cotton is the best because it's so absorbent. Match your towels with your shower curtain, bath mat, and soap dish. - Stylish pillows.
Bright, punchy pillows will add a flash of color or design to an otherwise muted room. Since they're so versatile, they're perfect for trendy girls who like to change the look of their pad without spending a bundle. - A dreamy bedspread.
The fluffiest comforters and duvets have what's called baffle-box construction, which keeps them evenly thick and warm. Look for a cover made of Egyptian cotton with a thread count of at least 250. - A well-stocked home bar.
So you'll always be prepared for impromptu gatherings: 2 bottles of booze (vodka plus a brown liquor), club soda, juice for mixing, and a few bottles of good, inexpensive wine. forwhite, try a pinot grigio and a South African sauvignon blanc; for reds, go with a Cotes du Rhone and a Spanish rioja.
- A matching pair.It can be a couple of chairs, lamps, vases, whatever. A set makes your place look well-decorated because it creates symmetry, which instantly pulls a room together.

10 THINGS that you did't know about your HAIR
- Children lose an average of 90 strands of hair a day. This count increases to 120 for adults.
- Scalp hairs grow at a rate of 1 to 1.5 cm per month or 12 to 15 cm per year.
- The average scalp has 100,000 to 150,000 hairs.
- The life expectancy of hair is three years or over 60 cm.
- Hair is the 2nd fastest growing tissue in the body after bone marrow.
- A single hair strand can support up to 100 grams in weight and a whole head of hair can support up to 12 tons-equivalent to two African elephants.
- Africans and Europeans are more prone to balding than Asians.
- The word shampoo comes from the Hindi chmpn which means to massage or knead.
- One centimeter of your hair holds all your personal record of the past month--what you ate, drank, and the environments you were in.
- Melanin gives hair its color. These are made up of dark (eumelanins) and yellow (phaeomelanins) granules called melanocytes that mix together to obtain different shades of hair color.

I aim to...
2. have a house at GREENMEADOWS and color it tangerine. I would like to have a dance studio inside it. A room filled with mirrors where I could dance like nobody's watching.
3. be able to see the pyramids of EGYPT, ride a love boat in VENICE, shop at SINGAPORE again, ride the PARIS's Eiffel Tower's elevators again, walk through the Great Wall of CHINA, pass by the River of the Nile, have or renew my wedding vows or be baptized in River Jordan, see the Niagra Falls and the Taj Mahal.....
4. learn how to speak Japanese, Chinese or French. Either of these 3 would give me a degree of satisfaction.
5. bungee jump. Or sky dive. ANything that will surely take my breath away. Not my life please... Hahahaha!!!
6. perform internationally.
7. put up a business. I still can't figure out what. But I'm planning to have a line of apartments in the United States perhaps? Somewhere in Chicago. Or Seattle.
8. come up with a good sketch. Something that I could display in my own home someday.
9. fulfill my womanhood by giving birth. You may find this silly because naturally, a woman gives birth, right? But this is really a huge deal for me. Because, this is one of my fears... to give
birth to a child. I fear being cut that's it.
10. be with my soul mate......

10 COMMANDMENTS FOR TODAY'S LIVING
- Be Present
The past is stale. The future does not exist. The present is fresh. Being present cuts through past entanglements and future anxities. It brings you together. If you let your past overshadow your life, you will never be able to live freely and spontaneously in the world.
- Observe yourself
Pay attention to who you are. No one else can observe you for no one else know you. But observe yourself gently, and do not judge yourself. You must give yourself unconditional acceptance-even if no one has ever given this to you. Do not allow things to stay buried.
- Be Nothing
Absence is more important than presence, for absence is the cradle in which presence is laid. There is no anticipation quite so keen as that created by emptiness and no possibility so pure as that of the clean slate. This way you can find your best self, your essence.
- Flee Attachment
Attachment makes us blind. We identify ourselves with those around us and the things we believe in. We choose the focus of our passion, identify accordingly and consign everyone else to hell. When we attach, we cease to be open and generous towards creation and it leaves us figting a corner rather than living the world.
- Transcend Suffering
We have a simple and significant choice with suffering-resent it or accept it? If we resent pain, we become negative, if we accept pain, suffering becomes transformed. It is difficult, it requires a sense of trust but is ultimately healing.
- Drop your illusions
We are not in control of our lives. Neither should we desire to be. Our thoughts are transient and should not rule our lives. Illusions put pressure on us to be someone we are not.
- Prepare for Truth
Knowledge is esily passed on. No one can pass on understanding. You can only prepare yourself to understand. Do not search for truth, but unveil it through the fearless and simple exposure of error in yourself. Out of this quite exposure of error in yoursel. Out of this quiet exposure arises a new space within, in which we can receive new impressions.
- Cease Separation
It is easy for the soul to panic and lose relationship with its essence. The separate self is a touchy individual, quick t take offense-this is what makes us selfish. Do not confuse your physical body with your self-be one, be your essence-your body is merely a tool.
- Know your soul
Your soul is everything-mediating between our personality and our essence, and part of both. It is your window on reality and your experience of reality. Explore it so you can know who you truly are and realize that you are not a machine.
- Fear Nothing
Defeat your own fears s you can help others. We do not trust life and are fearful of different things, but we must learn that nothing can harm our essence. It is indestructible, and therefore we are indestructible.

A recap.......
This year, so many events, blessings and lessons were experienced. I can't deny that I became a better person because of them. Far from what I expected, I thought I'd be a stuck up this year. Because I thought I'd be doing the same old usual things I do...but it was the total opposite. "Firsts" are least expected as you get old. But it's amazing, God still gives me these "firsts" and man!!!! Was I swept off my feet for each...
Allow me to reminisce on my blessings....

This was also the year I passed my CGFNS and IELTS exams last March and December respectively. I have to say these are the best gifts for this year....Here are some of my co-reviewees in The Commonwealth Institute.
This year also, I got to celebrate my birthday 5 times. Of course it won't be possible if my precious friends weren't there to celebrate with me. It has been a year since this barkada was formed. Ronald, Ryan, Emil, Mike, Jaq, CJ, Hannah, Ate Cef, Jamie, VEra, and sa lahat ng extensions....Thanks y'all!!! For my Whiplash family, my Salinggawi dudes and dudettes, for my co-teachers and poker classmates, and elementary and high school crew, thank you so much!!!! To my girls, the Palmolive chikas, after 3 years of friendship, you still don't fail to make me feel cared for.... Thanks for all the concern and advice..... and for the attendance... you know what I mean! Hehehe!!!

I also would like to thank God for the knowledge you've given me. Because of this, I am able to share to my young students a part of me. I thank you my fellow co-teachers for being with me throught it all. It's nice to know that you're as goofy as I am when handling problems and when being screwed up. You are true professionals. You also contributed to me being strong. There are a lot of times we're stressed out but we see to it that we give our best for our students. And we see to it that the work is done right.... To each and everyone of us, may our goals be reached. For those that I may not see anymore because you are bound to go abroad or work somewhere else, you truly touched my life..... it is much appreciated, you should know that....
This year, I get to love myself as well by not depriving myself at all of the craziest things in the world such as learning how to play POKER,
keeping up with this blog and taking as many pictures as I can. I indulged to Grey's Anatomy and Prison Break never minding eyebags the next morning. It really just completes me as a person..... having idle times now and then. Hahaha!!! Because of these, I get to relive my long lost friendships. I get in touch with my colleagues way back from primary years and I am able to give time for myself to enjoy.
In addition, I wanted to lift up to God, these friends of mine who got engaged this year, April Belarmino, M.D. and fiance Jeff, and Ria Zamora and fiance Denny... I wish my bestfriend Sarah and Jeff the best as well, as they enter into a new venture in life as husband and wife! Mwah! Mwah! Mwah!
I can't really find the perfect words for how grateful I am to this added year in my life.

This quote doesn't really hurt if you fantastic girls would apply this to your life. Dressing up is a fun way of expressing yourself. Since I was a little girl, I've always been a fan of Barbie, the dress up-kit paper dolls and Barbie coloring books. You get to color her dresses on your own, design your own get-up for the dollies and accesorize them according to your taste. We even had a David (yep!!!! The gorgeous David of mythology) refrigerator stick on-magnet (whatever you call it!) which you can dress up with jeans and shirt and even with a James Dean combo. That is cool or what? So, you know! Dress up!!!! Ü

Here are 10 things we, teachers spill to you students who aren't aware that we know about you.... We seem to be untouchables to you but we are actually human species you know... capable of having emotions as well. Here's a crucial glimpse of what's going on inside our heads:
- We can see everything that's goin on in the classroom-- if you're fiddling with your calculator during Anatomy class, if you're asleep, if you're talking to your seatmate-- we can even see where your eyeballs are during the exam. If you haven't been called on something, it's only because we've chosen not to. But we may decide to... one day.
- Impressions matter -- especially on first encounters . We don't have time to get to know everyone in class so your "dating" is one tool we utilize to sum up if you're cocky, kikay, tamad, or super smart. Impressions can change over time, but you'll have to work extra hard if you want to reverse a negative one. The one thing you don't want to be is the student who leaves no impression at all.
- WE know when you're making bola-- particularly if you use catch phrases and big, fancy words. We're secretly shaking our heads or laughing inside. We're also taking note of the fact that you don't really know what you're talking about. So next time, try shutting your trap and pay attention.
- WE know when you're making sipsip-- But sip-sip, if done properly, isn't always such a bad thing because it can amuse us and put us in a good mood. And happy teachers are nicer teachers. Just remember: being sip-sip can never be a substiture for actual work.
- WE love students who try hard. And this is because we work hard, too. We don't expect all of you to be whiz kids and geniuses, but real effort does score points in our books. Hopefully, it will also reflect in your grades.
- Bad penmanship gives us eyestrain and headaches. Make sure to keep your writing legible, and you'll keep your teacher patient. Hiding your non-answers behind messy scrawls doesn't work either.
- WE've heard every excuse in the book. A co-teacher once had a student who came in late because of the heavy traffic coming from Alabang. The teacher simply replied, "Then maybe we should carpool. I live there, too." Check in all excuses at the door, and you're bound to do better in class.
- WE're the experts. You may be smarter than we are, but for now, we know more than you do about this particular topic. So it makes sense to listen and learn.
- WE're tired. Teachers average at least 12 work hours per day. That includes preparing for classes, actual class-time, grading, office hours, and attending faculty meetings. There is nothing more annoying to us than students who waste our time.
- We live in the 21st century. We know when your term paper was lifted off the Internet--we have Google, too. We also know how mobile phones, calculators, and other hi-tech gadgets work, so try learning the answers to those questions instead of storing them in your gadget's memory.
